Rising financial concerns amid an uncertain job market, increasing work pressure as several companies focus on optimizing manpower as well as health related concerns are leading to eight out of 10 individuals experiencing stress fairly often daily, according to a study by HappyPlus Consulting based of a sample of 15,000 people.
However, despite 79% of the people complaining about some kind of stress daily, the overall happiness index has improved marginally from a year ago as the country emerges out of the effect of the Covid pandemic with 68% of those surveyed saying they have smiled or laughed in the previous day, shows the findings.
