Dr. Ashish Ambasta

After working in different firms including Indian conglomerates & World-renowned consulting firms he has decided to devote his life to improving happiness around the world through Happy+

It’s a technology-enabled happiness habit formation organisation that intends to change the way people look at happiness. He is ably backed by a team of talented people who are experts in their respective spheres.

He is also the founder of SEEtalks which tells the untold stories of changemakers to inspire the next generation to do good.

Ashish is also on board with Love Heals Cancer along with Kindness Unlimited and is trying to make the world a happy place.

Basant Kumar

Basant Kumar

Basant Kumar is the product head in HappyPlus. He is responsible for product strategy, product delivery and product roadmap with a singular focus on leveraging technology for “Happiness bit by bit “. He has extensive experience of 20+ years and worked as CTO and chief product officer of HONO HR – An Employee Engagement & HCM Suite company. He was also co-founder of DataMineria Technologies, which focused on election analytics in India. He has served TCS, Fidelity, and HeadStrong (Genpact company) in several roles. Basant has B.Tech degree from IIT Kharagpur.

Shyamasree Chakrabarty

Shyamasree Chakrabarty is the Senior Director of Business Solutions and Delivery at Happy+. She is a business leader with extensive experience in working with people, projects and processes across industries and geographies. She also has experience in Employee Engagement & Well-being, Program Management, Process Innovation, Change Management, HR Analytics & Operations Management.

At Happy+ she is responsible for designing & delivering business solutions strategies with a vision & mission to bring happiness for all.

Over the past 15 years as a professional, she has played key roles to translate the business vision into initiatives that improved performance, profitability, business growth and employee experience. She is a firm believer in the emotional well-being of people and harnesses the power of positive psychology with people analytics and technology to create a significant impact on happiness and mental health.

She has done her Masters in Statistics and specialised in Positive Psychology, Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

In her personal life, she keeps herself connected with nature through birding and knowing their names. She is passionate about nature photography which brings her immense happiness and travelling the entire world to explore diverse culture & history.

Vineet Singh

Vineet Singh is a technology professional with nearly 23 years of experience in leading IT functions, consulting services teams and start-ups, Before joining HappyPlus, he was Head of Client Engagement for Trans Neuron Tech a US-based consultancy firm, before joining Trans Neuron Technology. Vineet is responsible for strategic alliances and international business of HappyPlus.

There’s a reason why Vimal Kumar, the former Sports Editor of Network 18 Group is regarded as one of the stalwarts of sports journalism in India. Vimal began his professional journey at the iconic IMG-TWI in the early 2000s. Soon, with his exemplary work he gave a unique identity to Khel Aaj Tak – a signature evening sportscast at 7.30 pm on India’s Number 1 news channel for many years. For the past one and a half-decade, Vimal was part of the Network18 group and primarily contributed to both English and Hindi news channels as well as on their digital platforms.

At the beginning of 2020, Vimal left his position as sports editor to pursue another passion of motivating people through stories in the sports world. Happiness and positivity are two words he wants to be associated with in his new journey which started in 2016 when he became one of the co-founders of the inspirational talk show-SEEtalks. Vimal has also delivered sessions on Branding, Advertising, Management, Leadership from the sports world to institutions like IIM Indore and CII among others.

He is also a prolific writer and has authored two books in English which have been translated into many Indian languages. He has been writing columns, articles and features for many reputed media platforms like Mint, moneycontrol.com and Mid-Day and many others. B Krishna Deva is a seasoned Full Stack Developer with four years of experience in the field. Holding a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Krishna Deva possesses a strong academic background complemented by practical expertise in software development.

As a Full Stack Developer, Krishna Deva is adept at working with both front-end and back-end technologies, enabling him to contribute effectively to all aspects of the development process. His proficiency spans across the entire MERN stack, including MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js, allowing him to build dynamic and responsive web applications.

With four years of industry experience, Krishna Deva has honed his skills in front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, particularly specializing in React.js for creating intuitive user interfaces. On the back end, he excels in server-side programming with Node.js and Express.js, designing RESTful APIs and managing database interactions with MongoDB.

Krishna Deva’s expertise extends beyond technical implementation, encompassing best practices in software engineering, version control, and deployment strategies. His comprehensive understanding of modern development tools and methodologies enables him to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the requirements of clients and stakeholders.

Dr. R Sridhar

Dr. R Sridhar is one of the most respected names in India’s HR community. After completing his post-graduation from XLRI in 1982, he joined ITC and rose to the rank of Corporate Head HR along with being a member of the Corporate Management Committee in 2016. He performed this role till January 2019. Dr. Sridhar is also a fellow from XLRI and is known respected for his sharp mind and quick insights on complex issues. With 38 years of experience as an HR, he has handled various situations with aplomb in leadership roles at ITC. After his stint at the ITC, Dr. Sridhar joined Xavier Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship as Director. We at Happy+ are proud to have him on our board as an advisor. Dr. P. V. Ramana Murthy (PV) is qualified in Law, Advanced Human Resource Management, Executive Coaching, Transformational Leadership and Change Management. He is an alumnus of INSEAD and has a PhD in Strategic Human Resource Management. Dr. Murthy currently serves as the Executive Vice President and Global Head – Human Resources at the Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), the finest hospitality chain and the oldest company of the prestigious Tata Group.

As a member of the senior leadership team at IHCL, Dr. Murthy handles a broad spectrum of initiatives aligned to Leadership Development, Organisational Culture, Sustainability, Strategy, Ethics and Tata Business Excellence across 175 hotels in four continents. He also heads Human Resource functions for other group companies like, Roots Corporation (Ginger Hotels) and Taj SATS, which is a joint venture partnership company with Singapore Airlines.

Before joining Taj, Dr. Murthy served at The Coca-Cola Company in various capacities for 15 years and left as Executive Director – Human Resources for Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB), India and Bangladesh, the wholly-owned subsidiary of the Bottling Investments Group of The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC). PV, as he is fondly called by his friends and colleagues, is a passionate writer and a Senior Faculty Member at Josh Bersin Academy (JBA). He has been recognised as a Level 1 Thought Leader by JBA recently. Dr. Srinivas Chunduru (Srini) is a business leader with over two decades of experience across diverse functions such as P&L Management, Business Development, Corporate Strategy, M&A, Investor Relations and Strategic Human Resources. He is on the board of several new age internet and fin-tech companies including a Unicorn. Srini formerly spent around two decades at the Piramal Group leading a range of roles from M&A to Business Transformation to Group CHRO and Executive Director, responsible for P&L at Piramal Housing Finance. He has been conferred with several awards including Global CLO of the year (Leap-vault and TISS), Distinguished Alumni of Goa Institute of Management and Doctorate in Excellence by UCT Delaware – a renowned university in the USA. Srini specialises in the areas of M&A, Large scale Business Transformation, HR strategy and Corporate Strategy. Dr. Dur Khan is a Core Faculty in HR at Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai. Before JBIMS, she was associated with Sydenham Institute of Management Studies as a faculty in HR. Her academic career spans over 7 years with teaching expertise in Organisational Behaviour, People Management, Business Research Methods, Empirical Research and Organisation Development.

A consistent rank holder, Dr. Dur Khan holds a Masters in Management Studies (MMS) in Human Resource Management from Welingkar Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai. She did her PhD in Personality Psychology and Well-Being from the University of Mumbai. Her research work highlighting gender differences in personality, psychological well-being, academics and income has been published in various national and international peer-reviewed journals and earned rave reviews.

Dr. Dur Khan is Course Coordinator of MHRD, a two-year full-time course in HR offered by JBIMS. She is on the Academic Board (HR) and Subject Board of JBIMS and looks after syllabus restructuring and re-design. She is also the nodal officer for the National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) and a member of the Internal Quality Assurance Committee (IQAC) for NAAC.

She also has experience in exam coordinator-ship and has received a tribute of ‘Best Professors in Human Resource Management by World HRD Congress, Mumbai in 2019.

Malvika Ambasta

Malvika Ambasta

Malvika Ambasta is a trained counsellor & mental health professional. Having started her career in the stock market after her Masters in Management in finance, she went on to finish her third Masters in Social Work (Counselling). She then shifted her focus to career and mental health counselling. Associated with several institutions which include schools, colleges, hospitals, correction centres & NGOs she has practised her counselling skills for many years now. At Happy+ she is the Director of Mental Health Practice and works with psychologists to provide solutions to individuals, corporates and institutions. Malvika is involved with several social initiatives and spends her leisure time taking care of the elderly and children with learning deficiencies.

School of Entrepreneurial Exploration (SEE) is an NGO that was established in 2016 with a mission of getting one million Indians to explore Entrepreneurship.

The mission of Love Heals Cancer is Guiding cancer patients in their journey and spreading awareness to see a world free from cancer.

Kindness Unlimited (KU) helps bridge the huge nutritional gap in children especially for the adivasi communities in Maharashtra.
